New Videos

Even after being “off” tour for a year now, it’s still really hard to not be out.  There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss it.  It’s really good for me to still be connected to the tours.  I love working with artists. It’s a blast when someone knows what they want.  I love the challenge!

Sidewalk Prophets called about doing a 12 minute video set.  These guys knew exactly what they wanted.  I feel really honored to have done their videos.  Those guys are the real deal.  Super nice, Godly dudes.

New Camera

Cass and I got a new camera for christmas. I had a little free time and wanted to play around with some of the different lenses.  Beans also enjoyed playing with the camera.

 

Liv’s Room

My dear friend, Caleb Harkins, built a fireplace at his church using reclaimed wooden shipping pallets.  I loved the end result and we wanted something creative for Liv’s room so I stole his idea.

I spent an evening driving around town stealing trashed pallets and got to work!  I started by cutting the pallets into sections because it was too hard to pry the wood off.  Then I put them in piles of like sizes to make installation easier.  The easiest way to get it onto the wall was to use a nail gun with 1in nails.  I sanded the lower few feet so that Liv’s little hands won’t get splinters.

Also, because it was recycled wood…it was free.  I only bought a new blade for my saw. That was the only cost.

it was a reminder that God’s grace draws my back to him daily and its that same grace and strength that will be bringing liv home to her new family. It both draws us home spiritually and will bring her physically home.
